I Loathe Sprint
Today I looked at my Sprint bill online. It was a little higher than I had imagined (considereing I am on the Everything Plan for $99.99). After going over it with the lady I see that it was a bill for Jun-Jul and Jul-Aug...but why do I feel like I've been screwed??...Everytime! She did get some of my ringer charges taken care off...I was charged for 5 ringers when I bought 3 and got 2 with promotion codes. Then I was charged for them again since my BRAND NEW phone froze on me and I got a new one and then redownloaded all the songs. She told me that even though on my music manager it says I "own the rights" to that ringer that if I download them again it still costs me $2.50 a ringer. That's when I threw a hissy fit and told her that I was not going to pay and it was ridiculous that I should be expected to after THIER crappy phone died on me...she said she fixed the problem but we shall see. So yet again I feel that Sprint has screwed me but what can I do?? I need a cell phone...so it looks like I am stuck! Like Bobby says...cell phone companies screw their loyal customers of many years. Why is that??

Happy Birthday...
Well the 24th is Thomas Wyatt's birthday and I thought it would be nice to say a little something. Sabra had posted a while ago about him and it took me a few times to actually read it all the way through. I cry everytime...which is weird while I am sitting at my desk at work and people can see me...but oh well! I do not know what to say so I will just start...
I remember a lot, yet I don't know much about you. Six weeks is not a lot of time. I just look forward to the day when we can be together again as a family and I can get to know you. It's so hard for me...I love and miss you...Happy Birthday.
Here are the only two pictures I have of him...I wish there were more. You never know how much time you have with the ones you love so enjoy every minute of it.

Super Mario World
Monday John and I drove up to Phoenix because we were flying out Tuesday morning...so we got to see Katie and meet Scott. PS...We LOVED Scott...good job Katie! We ate a great mexican dinner...but what was best of all was Katie found me Super Mario World for my Super Nintendo...which I revived from my Mom's house (we all know how hard that is)!!! John and I hooked it up last night at his parents house...I LOVE IT!!! It brings back memories of Clay playing it and Becky and me begging for a turn...boys are mean! Well John was excited too...but then he realized it wasn't the Mario Brothers he played on regular Nintendo when he was a kid...so he kept dying and didn't know what to do. Hopefully by the end of our two week vacation he'll get the hang of it.
Oh and I got Zelda because I loved it on Nintendo 64...not so much on the Super...I do not know what to do...I'll have to look into it online or have someone show me. I am still waiting for Tetris...so sad.

Promised...
Shay's Shower
This weekend we celebrated Shaylyn and the baby at the Scott's house. It was a great shower...cute decorations, great food, fun games, and fantastic company!! I enjoyed an afternoon with my cousins and a few friends...it is very rare we are all together at once!! Well here are some cute pictures of the prego lady (Shay) and the rest of us...enjoy.
La Fonda
John's parents came into town this past week on their way to Vegas. It was nice to see them since it had been so long since the last time. We decided to round everyone up and go have dinner in the back room of La Fonda...which is good considering there were four New Yorkers and a Buddy present (the noise level was ridiculous most of the time). Well we had a great time and everyone (that was in town) came! The best line of the night was from Buddy..."kiss my tongue"...one day he will be getting all the ladies...watch out!!

No, I love the '80s and '90s!
Well my countless hours of web surfing today brought me across a listing of the items that appeared on the I love the '80s and '90s VH1 show. I was suprised at how many I didn't know about or really got into as a child. There were of course many that I recognized and many more I thought of on my own. I decided to create my own list using some of their items and a few of my own! Becky will remember some of them...easy bake oven and Pretty Woman! We had a lot of fun growing up in little ol' Bard, CA. We played and did some ridiculous things on the farm; but for the sake of staying with mainstream things like the tv show I did not include those in my list...such as playing in mud puddles or making hay stack forts! So here are the things I remember seeing/hearing about/playing with during my childhood.
1. Pretty Woman
2. Slap Bracelets
3. Easy Bake Ovens/Creepy Crawlers
4. Little Mermaid
5. Free Willy
6. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
7. OJ Simpson
8. Beanie Babies
9. Tamagotchi/Giga Pets
10. Aqua
11. Barbies
12. Furby
13. LFO
14. The Blair Witch Project
15. Rollerblades
There are many more things that I could list reguarding my childhood but I thought fifteen items were enough!
Autumn
Sarah came down to Yuma...since I never made it to Tucson (sorry). She brought little Autumn to see her aunt Joanie. She is the cutest dang baby I have seen! She came to Sabra's to see the kids too; especially Strider...they could possibly be boyfriend and girlfriend...he wanted constant kisses from her(Autumn). They would make a cute couple! Well here are some cute pictures of the baby with our family. I will be even more excited to see her around Christmas time when she has grown a few more months! See you then little Autumn.

I am going to miss 'em
This summer I have spent a lot of time over at my sister's house and have had so much fun getting to know my boys. They are still getting so big by the minute and I am going to miss them so much when I go back to Pittsburgh. Of course I will miss everyone else but they are my babies that are still growing and changing so much. I can not wait to be back for the holidays...my tiny will be so different (hopefully talking more!)...and maybe my buddy won't be such a devil. Here are some cute pictures I have of them from this summer...most I have already posted in older blogs but here are some extra ones.

My Summer Reading List
This summer I did not read as much as I wanted to or should have. I was very busy watching a lot of LOST and other television shows. But I did read a few books that I feel are worth mentioning.
1. Middlesex: I like this book a lot because it was interesting to see how sex and gender issues were viewed in the past. It was sad to see the heartache and pain that was caused just because it was an issue that was not talked about or really known about.
2. Mormonism for Dummies: Great book, I was able to learn a lot more about my religion. It was also interesting to read about Mormonism from an educational point of view rather than a religious or spiritual point of view.
3. The Other Boleyn Girl: FANTASTIC story. I absolutely loved it! It is very long but worth the time and effort. It sparked my fascination for the stories surrounding King Henry VIII and his love affairs.
4. The Host: This book about aliens on earth was not too scifi so I was able to stomach it. I actually liked it a lot. Although it is not as good as the Twilight series it is worth the read.
5. Peony in Love: Not as good as Snow Flower and the Secret Fan...but I liked it nonetheless. The first section introduces a twist that made me miserable and want to not continue reading but I was glad that I did. I love stories about Asian women!!
I only have three weeks left till I go back to Pittsburgh so I hope to sneak in a few more books before I will be forever reading text books about IT and Security.

quatro de julio
Well for the 4th of July John and I did one of the least patriotic things and took a little vacation down to Puerto Vallarta. We did not celebrate the 4th but we had fun nonetheless. We did not do much...our day consisted of sleeping in, breakfast by the beach, reading by the pool, naps and movies, and then dinner. One day we did venture out and walked the entire boardwalk. We made it to our restaurant right on time...the rain started and did not stop that night. Overall it was one of the most relaxing vacations that I have been on. Don't be jealous! (But getting up for work this morning was sucky)
P.S. I read The Host...loved it!!
Iron Chef
Lately John has been making spaghetti and meat sauce for dinner...I love spaghetti and meat sauce so YEAH!! I made him wear my apron and then I took a pic...he was not too thrilled. I thought I would post it because it is funny...and it would annoy him. But I will stubbornly admit (Sabra) that yes I have grown tired of spaghetti and meat sauce (for a while at least).
At the River (a few weekends ago)
For some reason I did not post any of the pictures or the video I took of the kids at the river from a few weekends ago. We all went and had a ton of fun...as usual. This trip was particularly funny because the Buddy would have to pull his swim trunks down to pee (even though we were in the river)...potty training taught him well! The best though is when Bob picked him up while he was peeing and chased Sabra around...eewww. The boat next to us played some decent music and the boys loved it. Buddy made fists with his hands and pretended to play the drums or dance...do not really know. Cute though! And the baby was pole dancing...see the video below. I could have gotten much cutier pictures and video from that day but of course I am not my mother and my camera is not glued to my face for the capturing of spontaneous moments from the kids.
