Honey Do
This last weekend I was lucky enough to have Shawn come up and visit. It was his first time to Pittsburgh, so guess what we did?! Home repairs! I felt bad that we were not able to go around and see the wonderful sites Pittsburgh has to offer but instead fixed things around the house and just spent time with each other. Neither of us complained.
He is very handy and told me to make a list of things I needed done (blinds installed, drapes and decor hung, etc.). So when he walked through that front door I handed him my Honey Do List and he just smiled. I later over heard him telling his dad "can you believe this woman's list is two pages long?" Ask and ye shall receive, right?! He was a good sport though and we were able to check most things off my list.
While we weren't working on the house we were COOKING! Shawn and I discovered how much we like making meals together from food magazines. I will have to keep my eyes peeled for more since I will be making a trip down to Maryland in two weeks to see him (we are going kayaking and to the rennasaince festival in Annapolis).
We were so busy I forgot to take pictures, next time for sure.

A Second Sister's Visit
This year I have been so lucky to have two of my sisters come visit me TWICE. Katie and Sabra came to see me in Maryland during February AND this month in Pittsburgh. They are turning into quite the travelers.
Katie came a few days before Sabra and we were able to relax, have fun, and celebrate her and Walter's birthdays. Once Sabra arrived the two fended for themselves during the day so I could work and then at night all three of us ventured out together. We did what we do best...shopped, ate, watched movies, talked, ate some more, and there was a little bit of Rummikub and crafting!
The boys of course loved having extra attention and love. Katie and Sabra showered the boys with both (even when they became a little annoying). Chuy was definitely Sabra's favorite and Walter Katie's (but I don't think they caught on).
Thanks for coming to see me again sissys! I enjoy it each time and have so much fun. Love you!
PS We need to make sure next time all 4 of us are together. We missed Kelly terribly!

The World's Oldest 2 Year Old
My little old man has turned two today. From his greying, crazy beard/unibrow to his personality...I have never met an older soul. He is quiet, patient, and loving. I was very nervous when I decided to get another dog but he has been the perfect addition to my little family (even Chuy would say so if he HAD to).
I love this crazy little dog. Happy Birthday Walter!

Moved In
The boys and I made it safely to Pittsburgh and had the house unpacked and somewhat put together in a little over a week. It was hard work but definitely worth it. There is of course tons more to do but mostly man jobs, so I will patiently wait for Shawn's visit so I can put him to work.
The boys are excited to live so close to their Auntie JubJub and cousin Frankle-pants. They play almost everyday after I get home from work and are finally getting along fairly well.
Chuy needed a Starbucks green tea latte to get through the packing and moving.
Walter was exhausted by the end of it all.
Cute cousins napping on the back of the couch (like cats).
