Another Country Concert

We decided to go earlier this time to the concert and not forget the tickets!  We had a good time relaxing and eating before the music started.  We got to see Brad Paisley, Lee Brice, and Chris Young.  

Blake Shelton is the next concert, so excited!!!!!

Shawn's Birthday!

Father's Day 2013

The boys and I surprised daddy with a fat kid sandwich for breakfast.  A breakfast sandwich that consists of eggs over easy, American cheese, bacon, and Eggo waffles.  My inspiration was from the article The 23 Most Perfect Foods in the Universe (http://www.buzzfeed.com/emofly/most-perfect-foods-in-the-universe).  We call it fat kid breakfast because when you start to eat it the egg and syrup go everywhere and you have to keep inhaling it as egg and syrup drip all over your hands.  AMAZING!

Next was gift time!  The boys are always confused when there are gifts but they do not get any. Spoiled!  Walter got daddy a new beard trimmer since Shawn's broke and he used Walter's clippers.  Chuy got him a Contigo coffee mug so dad doesn't have to take mommy's baby blue with butterfly coffee mug to class anymore.

The boys were so excited to cuddle and have a laid back morning.  After we relaxed Shawn and I met up with the Lee's and saw Man of Steel.  GREAT MOVIE!  We were not only celebrating awesome fathers but also Auntie Dina's birthday.

After the movie Dino and Jazz came over and we had a sausage fest (per Shawn's request).  We grilled five or six different kinds of sausages/bratwurts, corn on the cob, and southern baked beans.  Then we watched the season premiere of True Blood.

A very busy day, but lots of fun!

Without A Paddle - Part 2

In October of 2011 Shawn and I went kayaking in Annapolis and had a blast.  A year and a half later we were able to go again!  This time we had Billy and Joey join us and they made it that much better!  The weather was perfect, sunny and warm.  Thursday we had crazy wind, rain, and tornados; we were glad to have beautiful weather two days later.

I got to see a horse shoe crab!!  First time ever.  (he was dead though)

After we went kayaking we went to Davis' Pub in Annapolis.  We went the last time we were kayaking and since then Guy Fieri visited with his show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives (Shawn and I love going to his places).  We had the famous crab pretzel with bacon and the perfect pulled pork chipotle habanero barbecue sandwich.  AMAZING!

Congratulations to my two great friends Brent and Liz!!

Shawn and I ran up to Pittsburgh for a wedding weekend.  We had great food, fantastic fun, and enjoyed being surrounded by friends.  I am so glad Shawn and I were able to be a part of the fun and memories!
