This book was at best mediocre, I of course enjoyed it because it was a very easy and light read. Great for the jacuzzi after work (mindless and entertaining)! However, I am probably going to read another one of her books that Christina read and liked (so apparently they aren't that bad).

Yeah, this book is a chick lit novel, just one step above a romance novel. I have never read any of her stuff, no interest, but it does sell well. Then again, so do romance novels, but you know me, I'm biased with these things. Anyway, noticed you were starting Eat, Pray, Love. Read it a couple of years ago. I enjoyed it, but it is very unrealistic. Still, a nice escape. I'm reading two books right now: The Given Day by Dennis Lehane (LOVING it) and The House at Riverton by Kate Morton (good so far).
