Memorial Day Weekend Activities

We had a great weekend with our friends John and Kristen.  Friday night they had a bbq and wine party and Sunday they took us out on their boat on Chesapeake Bay.  We had an AWESOME time just relaxing in the sun and talking.  I could get on board with owning a boat...Shawn's dream is to live on a house boat.

We also relaxed at home a lot of the weekend.  I actually took a nap and started working on my quilt again.  Shawn worked on a lot of projects around the house.  He even smoked a chicken, his first one.  It was the most tender, juicy, scrumtrulescent chicken I have ever had.  He did good!

Crawfish Boil 2014

We went to Tex's annual crawfish boil this year and enjoyed every minute of it.  The weather was beautiful and the food was perfect.  We can't wait till next year!

Brent's Birthday

We drove up to Baltimore to celebrate a friend's birthday.  We went to Tapas Teatro and ate delicious food (no pictures this time).  They even convinced us to go to karaoke and sing!  We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again.

Chuy's 5th Woofday

My oldest little turned 5 yesterday.  He is my most ornery son but he can also be super sweet (just to me).  Happy 5th Birthday ChuChu!
