Alabama Family Visit

I was in Atlanta, GA for work and decided to drive to Montgomery, AL to see Shawn's family.  I had a great visit with Mama and Murph.  Then I had dinner with Charlie and Mama Lynn at the Catfish House.  Although the visit was only a few hours I enjoyed spending time with them…I know Shawn was jealous.

In Atlanta I went to Mary Mac's Tea Room.  I had very yummy chicken fried chicken with collard greens, mac 'n cheese, and these amazing dinner rolls (cinnamon, yeast, and corn bread).

Valentine's Day 2014

Shawn and I celebrated very low key this year.  We didn't go out for our usual sushi dinner.  Instead we focused on making each other yummy food to enjoy together.  I had a nice relaxing day (minus the hours to bake that dang cake).  He spoils me rotten and I won't complain.

Baton Rogue Bex

My work took me to the Mississippi/Louisiana area and I was fortunate enough to stay a few extra days and see Becky!  We had fun touring around Baton Rogue, eating comfort food, running around the lakes, watching her anchor, and of course chick flicks and wine!

I needed a girls weekend and we had the best one!  Love you cousin :)
