2009 Talent Show

This year the girls were in the talent show (minus Sydney). The two littles did a dance from the Philippines called Tinikling and K-Bug sang the Jennifer Hudson song from Dream Girls "I'm Telling You". Both performances were fantastic!! I have tried repeatedly to upload the videos and it isn't working so here are some pictures from the evening.

These Is My Words

I have not been in the reading mood lately. Usually when I am home I devour books because I am unable to do so while in Pittsburgh. However, this vacation I have enjoyed other things besides reading; except for the book These Is My Words (recommended by Sabra). LOVED IT, a MUST read!

One Down, One More To Go

By Wednesday everyone was done with classes and finals...FINALLY! It is weird to think I am half way done with my masters. I am almost a grown up...kinda scary. Anyway, some of us met up at the PHI bar one last time. I am going to MISS my 2nd year boys!!

Apartment Shopping in DC/VA

Since I have an internship in the Tysons Corner, VA area Celaschi and I drove up to DC for the day and went and looked at a few apartments for me. We also drove into DC to meet up with Julian, have lunch, and see the White House. While near the White House they blocked all the streets off to let someone important in...Celaschi is certain it was Barack Obama...who could know such things.

Cinco de Mayo!

This year we had to celebrate Cinco de Mayo on the 4th since Celaschi and I would be traveling to DC on the 5th. So, we all took a break from our busy lives (finals and work) and went to my favorite place and had Mexican FOOD!!

However, on Wednesday the North's took me to this amazing place in Canonsburg that actually served SOPES! I am definitely going back there soon.
