The Vending Machines Are Out To Get Me!

I am stuck in one building all day (well when I go to school) and there are many vending machines throughout the building. I can get any drink imaginable as well as anything to snack on. However, getting a bottle of water seems to be impossible for whatever reason I am not sure. I would like to first state that I usually have at least one bottle of water with me from home...seeing as how I am a poor college student and it is much cheaper than the $1.25 bottled water here.

The first incident occurred when I had no water and was parched; I ran downstairs and came across at least three beverage vending machines...no water, just sodas, teas, cold coffees, etc. Then I ran upstairs and finally one machine with one option for water. I quickly put my quarters in, hit the button, and screamed inside as "sold out" started blinking across the little screen. So I had to get a root beer and that was OKAY...I gave up soda and one isn't going to kill me.

The next run in with the vending machines was when I was trying to purchase some cookies during a three hour class. I put in 50 cents and the machine ate them...I had no other change. I was irritated!

Well today I had a water bottle but had lost in when I threw my bag into Celaschi's car on my way to school. I was dying for some water. So I grabbed my $1.25 and headed back up to the same machine with the water and I WAS NOT GOING TO BE TAKEN AGAIN. Before I put my money in the machine I pushed the button and it said the amount (which last time I checked meant it wasn't sold out). So I put my money in press the water button and watch as nothing happens and the words "SOLD OUT" run across the screen....AGAIN!!! So I have another root beer with me...my second slip up this year...irritating because its not like I am craving them at all.

I have come to the conclusion that 1) I hate vending machines and 2) My school is dumb for having many of non-water vending machines.
